• CANVAS: I hand stretch my large paintings using a thick, acid free, triple primed, 100% cotton canvas.

• STRETCHER BARS: My stretcher bars are finger spliced, knot free, kiln dried solid pine bars that are VERY strong and warp resistant. The finger splicing method is the same wood design they use to build homes.

• PAINT & VARNISH: Only the best oil and acrylic paints with strong pigments are used to create my artwork then topped with an oil based varnish which provides UV filtering and protects the art from environmental pollutants.

• Perfectly color match to your décor: Walls colors, fabric and
more. Sometimes clients & designers want a perfect color match for a custom
accent color in a painting. You can send me your swatches in the mail! Please

• Let’s set up a call: How often can you work directly with the artist
on your custom painting? You can at Sky Whitman Fine Art! At times it can seem
impossible to get your thoughts/wants out of your mind and into an email but a
phone call can be fast and set you at ease knowing we are exactly on the same

• See the artwork in your room: Email me a photo of your
room and I will photoshop the artwork of your choice right in it! Just send me
a straight on photo of your wall and please try to back up to get as much of
your décor as possible into the photo.

❀ Although my mediums are high quality and topped with three coats of varnish to help protect from environment
pollutants and provide UV filtering, artwork still needs proper care.

✔ Light: Keep painting out of direct sunlight. Harmful sun rays can lead to color fading and cracking.
✔ Cleaning: Use a clean soft brush to flush away dust.
✔ Frame Care: Dust with a dry soft cloth, it is ok to use a slightly damp cloth with water . 
✔ Air Vents: Redirect your vent so it is not blowing A/C or heat directly onto the painting. This can
lead to the paint cracking or pealing.

✖ NEVER USE WATER OR CHEMICALS TO CLEAN YOUR PAINTING OR FRAME.

❀ With propper care you painting will last many lifetimes!

Bethany is a brilliant artist! The photos online don't even come close to the actual beauty of her original painting. She was so pleasant to work with and very good at communicating.
